Silviu Hotaran became an "entrepreneur in education" at the beginning of 2009, his passion and goal being to facilitate people, teams and organizations to change and develop through projects (training, coaching, mentoring etc) based on objectives.

Between 1996 and 2008 Silviu was General Manager at Microsoft, 9 years for the Romanian subsidiary and 3 years for the South East Europe region, where he was responsible for growing the business and developing organizations in 12 countries.

Silviu Hotaran graduated in Computer Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1980. During 1980-1991 he worked as a scientific researcher at the Research Institute for Computer Technique in Bucharest. Between 1991 and 1996 he was General Manager of Ciel Romania, a software company producing, selling and supporting accounting and resource management software for the Romanian market.

Born in Oradea in 1955, Silviu is married and has a 25 years old son. He enjoys reading, playing basketball, travelling and swimming.
